V Sit Twist
There are four distinct muscle-groups to the abdominals, each of which performs a different task. V Sit Twists work all four of them, to some degree.
Lie on an exercise mat, keep your knees bent, cross your ankles and raise your feet off the floor.
Raise your upper body from the mat to form V-shape with your thighs.
In a smooth motion, twist your upper body to the right until you feel a stretch in your back and sides, moving your arms as shown in the video.
Return to the start position.
Repeat the movement, this time to the left side of your body.
